This 1963 Chevy Impala Wagon OEM Tailgate is an original GM part. The tailgate has already been metal prepped and primed.  There are a few dents and it looks as if someone has already done metal work to the lower and upper portion of the lips but there is no bondo on the tailgate.  The tailgate will still need some additional work before it is ready to be painted.  Inspect the photos carefully so that way you know what you are purchasing.  Nonetheless, you won't find another tailgate that is in as good of condition as this one.
